Our sessions provide you with a safe and non-judgemental relationship to explore what is concerning you. Our work creates stability for you to develop meaning, supporting personal growth and potential for change.
If something matters to you, it is most likely suitable for therapy. We might explore unwanted emotions such as anxiety or a lack of self-esteem, a life-changing situation such as a divorce or a health diagnosis, awareness of repeating patterns of behaviour, or communication and relationship issues. You are in control of what you bring to the sessions.
The sessions are a time for you to discuss challenges impacting your life. As your therapist, I listen to hear what you are saying and sometimes what you are not saying. You may not be able to articulate your feelings into words. I may ask questions about your past relationships, offer insights, or maybe re-frame things so we explore from another perspective to support you in joining your thoughts, feelings and words together.
We unpack what may be causing you to feel stuck, lost, or challenged. We might use imagery or metaphors, and humour can even play a part. Our goal is to help you understand yourself so your life feels better and more authentic.
